Health Coach Tip - Stay Hydrated This Season

As temperatures rise, keeping your body well-hydrated becomes more important than ever. Warmer weather increases the risk of dehydration, which can affect everything from energy levels and mood to digestion and brain function.
Hydration supports nearly every aspect of health—it helps regulate body temperature, keeps organs functioning smoothly, and even improves skin and joint health. Whether you're hitting the beach, walking the dog, or just running errands, drinking enough water is essential for feeling your best.
So how much water should you drink? Hydration needs vary based on activity level, age, and climate—but a general guideline is to aim for about 8 cups (or 2 liters) of water per day. We like to keep it simple: try drinking 4 big glasses throughout the day.
Here are some easy ways to make it happen:
- Start your morning with a big glass of water—wake up and hydrate!
- Keep a pitcher of lemon-cucumber water at your desk and finish it by day’s end.
- Sip on herbal tea in the afternoon (yes, it counts!).
- Load up on hydrating veggies like cucumber, celery, and leafy greens.
- Use your favorite glass or water bottle—something that makes you want to drink.
- When your glass is empty, refill it right away—make it a habit.
Hydration doesn’t have to be a chore. Find what works for you, and make it part of your daily rhythm. Your body will thank you!
