Health Coach Tip - Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are little nutritional powerhouses that people either love or hate... or know nothing about. They really are the sprouting grass hair on Chia Pets (and it looks like that company is still thriving with new zombie, emoji, and Star Wars versions). Soaked in water they become very gelatinous, like a pudding. That allows them to stick to your Chia Pet. When kept wet, they sprout into an amazing head of hair. Besides being fun to play with, they are actually edible and good for you.
Nutrients in Chia Seeds
- Omega 3 Fatty Acids - specifially linoleic and alpha-linolenic

Great... now you know they are a good addition to your diet, but what do you do with these crazy little things?
