Smoothie Making 101

By Be Well Health Coach Jenny Sansouci

Is it obvious that we’re huge fans of smoothies? Well, we are. They’re an everyday staple on the Be Well Cleanse, and even after the cleanse is over, we recommend having smoothies for breakfast. Smoothies are also great as a snack or meal replacement, and they’re kid-friendly as an alternative to sugary sweets. Why no apples?

You can certainly use whole apples if you have a powerful blender!

Is there a reason why you don’t list oranges in the fruit section?

  • Lois

What kind/model of blender do you recommend?

  • Anonymous

    Hi Lois,

There are many great blenders on the market, I personally have a Vitamix and love it!

Oranges blend best in a high powder blender, if you have one oranges can be a good addition too!
