Fela on Broadway

I went to the opening night of Fela on Broadway last week. I had seen it Off-Broadway many months ago and loved it. I was surprised to see what a great job they did in making it into a Broadway show. It was terrific!

Kudos to the producers for taking a chance on it and not compromising the show at all, to Bill T. Jones for his amazing choreography, to Marina Draghici for stunning costumes and set designs, the band Antibilas for playing and adapting Fela’s songs so well and obviously to the whole cast for such great performances. What a great show… I highly recommend it!

The New York Times even gave it a rave review on Tuesday, November 24th. For more information on the show: http://www.felaonbroadway.com/
