THANK YOU for the wake up call.  I know about healthy eating and I just dont do it often enough.    Now I will take it seriously.    THANK YOU

This is so great.  I’m forwarding it to the nutritionist who works in our wellness center for women with disabilities (many with MS), and my colleague at the MS care center at NYULMC.  I still believe I healed myself from lyme disease primarily with food and your tips in Revive.  Thanks!

I am a Weight Watcher Leader and I study Biology in preparation to become a physician’s assistant or naprapath.  I agree with you 100% except on the consumption of organ meats.  I am against the consumption of meat in general (only 2 servings per week).  Organs like the liver and kidneys filter toxins.  When humans consume these meats they eat the toxins from the animal. Non-animal proteins I believe are best.

    Hi Yogalena:

You mentioned you healed yourself from Lyme with food. what did your diet cinsist of. I would appreciate your response.

  • MovieDoodle

I also would like more info on your process of healing Lyme.

I have been eating a diet very similar to the Wahl’s Protocol. However, MovieDoodle, I realized I had some chronic Lyme going on in my knees and elbows. I upped the pH of my body by drinking 1/2 tsp of baking soda in 8 ounces of water in the morning and night (twice a day – younger people might do more) away from meals. Particularly if your meal includes protein, you want hydrocholoric acid in your stomach, not a high pH. I also take a bath in the morning with a cup of baking soda and a cup of epsom salts. I had an incredible healing crisis. My knees blew up like cantalopes. They wouldn’t straighten or bend. They hurt. I got a fever of 101.5. The Lyme spirochetes were mad as they died and gave me every toxin they had. My immune system reacted. I did coffee enemas to help to detox the toxins. You can hear about them on YouTube. I picked up crutches on July 3rd, put them down on July 20th. I am constantly getting better. Today, August 26th, I can run a little, balance on each leg and go on my tip toes. I still cannot squat though although it gets better almost by the day. I am 59 years old. I think that I may have killed all the Lyme bacteria. I will continue to cycle doing the baths and drinking the baking soda – 2 weeks on, one week off to make sure that I get them all.
