(.8 - .4 / .8) = .5. If you have 1000 people, then 1000 x .80 = 800, 1000 x .40 = 400, and so (800 - 400) / 800 = 50%. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I do agree that 120 people for this study did not seem large enough for 0.9% to be significant, because just one extra heart attack could throw the results off significantly.</description>
