Who’s got the desk chair blues? Give yourself 5 minutes for these easy seated stretches to relieve tension in the body and mind!
1. Sit at the front of your chair, and bring your right ankle to the left knee. Inhale, lengthening the spine. Exhale, folding forward. Repeat for 5 breaths, then switch legs.
2. Sit at the front of your chair with both feet on the ground. Come into a gentle twist by bringing the right hand to the outside of the left knee. Inhale and get very tall, exhale into the twist. Repeat for 5 breaths, then twist in the other direction.
3. Sit at the front of your chair with both legs long, and gently fold forward over your legs. Release the head & neck, and breathe deeply for 10 breaths.
