Brightly colored, naturally sweet and full of vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants, fruit is considered nature’s candy and offers an array of health benefits. But as you may have heard, not all fruit may be best for everyone, and different types of fruit (along with how they are eaten) can determine the positive or negative effects that they have on your body.
Here at the Eleven Eleven Wellness Center, we believe that there is not one diet that is right for everyone, which means we encourage patients to get curious about how certain foods make them feel to determine if they work well with their body. Did you know that the body is constantly regenerating itself? It’s true! Your cells are constantly dying off while new ones are being created. This regeneration happens at different rates throughout the body and can actually be affected (both positively or negatively) by the food that we eat. It’s super important to prevent aging from the inside even before you think about the outside options of beauty products galore.
Many clients that we see in our practice are worn out, run down, and confused as to why they don’t have the energy that they used to. After hearing these common complaints, we always ask them to describe their bedtime routine, including the amount of hours they get on average, the quality of their sleep (if they wake up during the night) and what time they are getting into bed.
We say it time and time again: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! And this can be especially true during the holidays. A healthy and nourishing breakfast keeps you satisfied and energized, allowing you to really enjoy your Thanksgiving, which usually includes cooking a delicious meal, catching up with family, and resisting those tempting treats!
